Adding to Diigo

I have so many resources, and have been thinking about which to place up into my Diigo account. So, today I spent time going through the sites I use most often, placing them in Diigo and tagging them. This is a great way for me to not only share what I have found useful for me and what I teach, but a great way to share with you. I am also introducing Diigo to teachers at my school and explaining how a site such as this will make their lives easier! My bookmarks: Mary Kay's Diigo

Most of what I have up there is very post secondary-transition information, since that is where my focus as an educator is. I have web sites that give great information on a students rights once they turn 18, on college information for students with disabilities and college information designed for all. There are also sites with technical education information and employment information. Those have all been tagged with "transition". Other sites have good information that I can use in my classroom. Thus the tag classroom. Some have information for the students to explore directly from the site and some have free lesson plans that i can implement. There are also just some sites that I find interesting, such as the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, that talks about video games and learning. So, enjoy.
